Sony has announced the Community Game Assist system for PlayStation 5. This feature allows you to automatically create game clips to offer gameplay tips to other players. PS5 owners will be able to automatically capture in-game footage when they complete certain activities in supported games.
PlayStation 5 auto-clip feature will allow the gaming community to support each other
This new feature was developed by the PS5 platform experience product management team led by Sabrina Meditz. Users will be able to enable this feature to allow their PS5 to auto-generate clips.
Clips created following completed activities, if approved after review by a moderator, will be uploaded to a platform where PlayStation 5 users can watch and rate game tips.
This new Community Game Help feature aims to create a resource to enhance users’ gaming experience, in addition to the official tips and guide videos provided by game developers. PlayStation 5 owners can use auto-generated clips to solve problems, such as passing challenging levels or finding hidden items.
Community Game Assist revolutionizes the PS5’s gaming experience by making it more interactive and collaborative, at least in the console world.
In addition to increasing interaction among PS5 users, the feature also encourages more community involvement from game developers. With this feature, Sony aims to make the PS5 not only a gaming console but also a gaming community platform, just like Steam.
